How do I change my FTP password? – Bright House Web Hosting

You can change your FTP account password via the BizControl interface.

Please follow the instructions below:

1. Log into BizControl (click here for instructions).
2. On the Home Page click on Web Hosting:

and select FTP (under the File Manager) sub-menu:

2.1: Alternatively, you can access the FTP Overview through My Services:
select Web Hosting, and click on the FTP icon menu.

Note: If you have multiple web hosting plans under your account, make sure to select the correct domain name using the Currently Managing drop-down menu.

3. On the FTP Overview page, click on the Edit Password button beside the appropriate FTP account.

Note: Here you can also see the current password. If it is hidden, simply click show to reveal it.

4. On the next Edit Master Account Password page, enter and repeat your new password in line with the provided password complexity requirements. Then click on the Submit button.

5. A green confirmation message will appear to indicate that the password was successfully changed.
